An AKU ticket is a bet that contains at least two courses. These are multiplied by each other in AKO bets.
This leads to potentially much higher winnings than simply adding the odds – but the risk of losing increases accordingly. If the conditions of the bookmaker do not stipulate otherwise, even one mistake means the end of the entire ticket.
At the same time, AKO bets must not contain so-called supporting opportunities that mutually exclude or support each other. AKU bets – multiples, odds calculation and winnings for AKO tickets
The calculation of the final rate at AKU bets is influenced by the amount of the deposit and the number and rate of individual opportunities. The good news – and the reason for the high popularity of AKO tickets – is that all the given numbers multiply with each other.
With online betting companies or in their mobile applications, you can always see the amount of possible winnings when making an AKU bet. However, the calculation of the course is not complicated and you can easily do it yourself, calculating with multiples will make it easier for you with a calculator.
In the first example, we will show the calculation of winnings and multiples on a ticket with a deposit of CZK 100, which contains five opportunities with the same odds of 1.80. Such are very common in odds offers, they usually indicate slight favorites in, for example, football or hockey matches.
Example – AKO bet with five opportunities
• Odds: 1.80 | 1.80 | 1.80 | 1.80 | 1.80
• Deposit: CZK 100
• Final rate: 18.90 (1.8 × 1.8 × 1.8 × 1.8 × 1.8)
• Winnings: CZK 1,890 (CZK 100 × 18.90)
We calculated the winning amount by multiplying the deposit (CZK 100) and all odds (multiples of 1.80).
The resulting odds, after rounding 18.90, are twice as high in this example compared to five separate SOLO bets (odds 9.00). In addition, we would have to deal with five different deposits.
In the next example, we will work with different high rates. The deposit is again CZK 100, such an amount can be obtained at Czech bookmakers as part of the bonus just for registration.
Example – AKU ticket with four opportunities
• Odd 1: draw in football (3.50)
• Odds 2: Tennis favorite win (1.50)
• Odds 3: goal scorer in hockey (2.80)
• Odds 4: favorite win in MMA (1.40)
• Deposit: CZK 100
• Final odds: 20.58 (3.50 x 1.50 x 2.80 x 1.40)
• Winnings: CZK 2,058 (CZK 100 × 20.58)
As you can see, despite the lower number of opportunities, the final odds – and thus the possible win – are higher.
The difference compared to SOLO bets is quite striking; if we bet these results on separate tickets with a total deposit of CZK 100 (CZK 25 each), we would win CZK 920. Further examples of specific AKO tickets can be found in the continuation of the article.
